The Nimbus Compassion Foundation founded by Loppon Lama Dawa
The goals of our Center are to:
Encourage the study and practice of Buddhism.
Offer teaching and instruction on practices based on great masters of the Kagyü Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
Provide a place for taking refuge, and for developing and strengthening our aspiration to live a meaningful life along the Buddhist path
Support Lama Dawa Dharma activities
The Center offers regular activities of Puja, meditation instructions and practice and Dharma Teachings.
All activities are open to members and non-members, Buddhist and non-Buddhists. A Refuge ceremony is offered for those who wish to formally practice as Buddhists.
By joining as a member of the center you become a student and disciple of Lama Dawa, you will actively support programs and projects led by Lama Dawa. The Center obtains its operating expenses primarily from its members and sponsors. Your donations will help the Center to fulfill its goals. Lama Dawa dharma guidance and teachings functions solely through donations.
* Specific Legal Dharma Purpose : The Nimbus Compassion Foundation is a nonprofit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for educational, religious and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.
The Nimbus Compassion Foundation corporation’s purpose is to increase bodhicitta (compassion and wisdom) by advancing the study of Buddhism and Buddhist teachings through lectures, seminars, prayers, prayer services and and educational classes given at temples, private homes, and public service.
It also will establish, build and maintain a Buddhist dharma monastery and temple for religious worship, activities, education, and promote charitable activities to outreach for the benefit of all beings.
